Walking the beach on Pawleys Island this morning, I came across a woman crying, gazing at the waves, surrounded by a memorial she made of flowers to the victims of 9/11. Never forget.

I took my son fishing last evening about an hour before sunset on Pawleys Island. We used shrimp as bait and he landed five fish in under an hour! The smile on his face was something to see.

He wanted to stay, but I had to get him to karate. We will be back to that spot on Pawleys Island and hope to catch the big fish that were making the bait fish jump out of the surf. There are some great spots around Pawleys Island for fishing, as well as crabbing. We will go after the elusive flounder next.. ;)
